Kitaoka Bamboo Rod, 7ft for 3 weight line, tip section is a bit longer
than butt section, built from Madake (Phyllostachys bambusoides) which had grown near his hometown in Kyoto.
This rod is equipped with latest flat grip which has improved the hooking capability of the little finger by making a small hump on the other side.
Characterized as a very sophisticated rod with smooth casting taste,
which cannot be experienced by rods made from Tonkin cane.
This rod is like a bullwhip.
Flexible but powerful enough to present large sized flies to the point
where your eyes chase.
