I visited Mr. Kenshiro Shimazaki, the “Guru”,a leading designer & innovator
in fly fishing industry worldwide to thank his support, advice and articles for
the latest book called “Bamboo Rod Kyosho.”(State of Bamboo Rods,
a Japanese version of the Cracker Barrel)
In the picture below, at the right front you can find the bamboo
connoisseur Mr. Youichi Miura, also the owner of Leon Co., Ltd.

At the right end, Mr. Ushuu Nakamura, a legendary bamboo rod builder
who had admired Nick Taransky of Australia. Nick-san is said to have
ordered his rod to Ushuu-san.
At the left end, Mr. Masanori Horiuchi, editorin chief ofFuraino-no- Zasshi,
one of the three leading flyfishing magazine inJapan.

バンブーロッド教書の出版にあたり大変お世話になった島崎憲司郎さんを訪ねて参りました。右側に寄稿いただいているレオンの三浦洋一さん、右奥にビルダーの中村羽舟さん、左奥にフライの雑誌の堀内正徳さん、床に座っているのがビルダーで本の挿絵も描かれている北岡勝弘さんです。そうそうたるメンバーに、みなさまの話題も大変豊富で、私はただただニコニコしていました。午前中は渡良瀬川でキャスティング大会、（でも私にとっては大変貴重な講習会）でした。その模様は動画でいくつかに分けてアップしていきますで、是非ご覧になってください。
